Grocery store tours

Common questions one experiences at the grocery store are:

  • Am I buying the right foods?
  • Is this food “safe” to eat based on my medical conditions?
  • This food seems to advertised as healthy but is it really?
  • How do I decide which cereal/bread/cracker etc. to buy?
  • What are some good snacks?
  • Which ingredients should I buy for my favorite recipes?

If these are questions or thoughts that you experience at the grocery, allow us to help you with a grocery store tour! Grocery store tours can be done individually or in groups. Together, well walk through the grocery store and learn how to

  • Read labels
  • Find substitutes for your favorite foods
  • Pick out healthy snacks
  • Buy foods that are nutritionally balanced
  • Food selection for chronic disease management (such as heart disease, diabetes or kidney disease),
  • Education on how to read meat labels (prime, choice, select, organic, grass-fed, pasture-raised, etc)
  • Food selection tailored to your health goals
